Inclusive Rugby is returning to Canberra on Saturday 16 November as part of Canberra’s SpringOUT pride festival. Celebrating diversity in the Capital, the annual pride event serves as a perfect host to the 2024 Diversity in Rugby & Pride Sports Festival.
With registrations still open to take part, everyone is welcome to come along on the day, which will include food, drinks, entertainment, raffle and of course some great inclusive sport.
You can expect lots of action with Rugby Union Men's & Women's games, an all gender Touch Football game, soccer game and your chance to see the action in a Gridiron game which will kick off the day!
Organised by ACT Veterans Rugby and Sydney Convicts' Bob Lees, the day promises to create a fun and welcoming place to demonstrate inclusion and support for the ACT & Queanbeyan LGBTQIA+ community.
Registrations are open for anyone who would like to participate in the tournament playing either Rugby Union or Touch Rugby. Participants will also receive a unique playing kit including shirt, socks and shorts as part of their registration fee.
If playing is not for you and you'd still like to be involved in the action you can also volunteer on the day by registering your interest.
